People relax in different ways just like they are motivated in different ways. Some people only have a few things the enjoy doing , things that help them relax and enjoy. Others like me like a really wide range of things. It truly depends on my mood, but I am all over the page. The same is true for motivation. In years of coaching and training one thing never changes: the fact that not everybody reacts and motivated in the same way to the same thing. Some fighters you just have to begin their face, pushing them. Others it’s just a simple look and they know what you want or mean. It’s true of employees I’ve had as well. You have to learn about them and begin to understand them to find what motivates them.
It’s true of yourself as well. You have to learn about yourself. A constant self research and education program (run by you lol) is necessary to be successful going term. Getting there is hard enough, but staying there long term means doing this. Never stop learning and refining. Spend a little time this weekend seeing both what relaxes you and motivates you.
